When it comes to designing customized digital signage solutions, there’s an ocean of opportunity for channel partners who have the expertise, relationships, and vision to make it happen.  And no one knows that better than InfoRev Media, a digital communications company for businesses, and their client and 2013 America’s Cup “challenger of record” Artemis Racing.


       Last year, InfoRev Media was asked to develop Artemis Racing’s VIP Lounge at the America’s Cup Village in the San Francisco Bay. It’s a state-of-the-art hospitality suite for VIP guests and is lined digital signage solutions. Among them, a large format display, a nine-screen video wall for streaming race videos and custom content, an interactive screen for welcoming guests and thanking Artemis sponsors, and a large format display over a buffet area serving gourmet catering. This high-profile project was no small undertaking and required a tremendous amount of thoughtful planning, resources and flawless execution by InfoRev and its partners.


       “The challenge of a project like this is always exciting – especially when it’s for a client that you’ve done business with before and are so proud to be supporting,” says David Liu, corporate strategist, InfoRev Media. “We knew we had a limited amount of real estate to work with, a tight budget, and big expectations coming from Artemis to really make a splash with this build during the America’s Cup racing and social events. Every inch counted and bringing together the right partners was going to be critical to the project’s success.”

       InfoRev Media worked very closely with Ingram Micro, InfoRev’s distribution partner of choice and the world’s largest technology distributor.  “With the help of Ingram Micro’s Keven Yue and its Pro/AV and Digital Signage Business Unit we were able to secure generous sponsorships with Samsung, Peerless, TouchSystems, and Sherlock Systems and create a cool, comfortable and compelling environment for our client, and their guests and sponsors,” says Liu.  “We also worked very closely with world class design firm Vanderbyl Design to create this first-class hospitality experience.  It was a team effort.”

The America’s Cup officially opened on July 4th. The competition lasts nearly three months and concludes with the America’s Cup Finals that run from September 7 to September 21.
